3 scoops for 1200lbs weight
1.5 scoops for 600lbs weight
Loading Dose - 2x a day for 14 days.

Yes, OptiWize is show safe and will not test

  • Is the product safe for pregnant or lactating mares?

Yes, OptiWize is safe for all stages of breeding.

  • Can this be fed with Equioxx or Previcox?

Yes, OptiWize collagen plus can be given in conjunction with Previcox. We do get reports from many owners that dosage can be tapered back overtime and often eliminated as joint health improves.

  • My horse is a picky eater, will he eat it?

Horses that may be a picky eater we suggest to reduce to 1 scoop then increase over 5 days.

  • Is this product safe for insulin resistance or PSSM horses?

No, we currently do not ship to Canada.

  • How long will a 4lb, 8lb, 14lb bag last?

A 4lb. bag of OptiWize equine with initial use, lasts one sound horse 3 weeks, this includes the 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, a 4lb bag will yield 5 weeks of maintenance use for one sound horse.

An 8lb. bag of OptiWize equine will last 8 weeks with initial use. This includes the 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, an 8lb bag will yield 10 weeks of maintenance use one sound horse

A 14lb. bag of OptiWize equine will last 16 weeks with initial use for a sound horse. This includes a standard 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, a 14lb. bag will yield 18 weeks of maintenance use for a sound horse.
