Yes, OptiWize is a great supplement to keep your animals protected and keeping their joints, tendons, and ligaments healthy. In horses we have seen a decrease in need for joint injections.
What dosage should I give my rehab case?
Please contact us for a complementary dosage consult. Please include the injury, how long it had been going on, ultrasounds or radiographs if you have them, and a video of the animal moving.
How long does a 4lb, 8lb, or 14lb bucket last for a horse?
A 4lb. bucket of OptiWize equine with initial use, lasts for one horse 3 weeks, this includes the 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, a 4lb bucket will yield 5 weeks of maintenance use for one horse.
An 8lb. bucket of OptiWize equine will last 8 weeks with initial use. This includes the 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, an 8lb bucket will yield 10 weeks of maintenance use one horse
A 14lb. bucket of OptiWize equine will last 16 weeks with initial use. This includes a standard 2-week recommended loading dose. Thereafter, a 14lb. Bucket will yield 18 weeks of maintenance use for one horse.
